Burghley 2023
Great to be back at Burghley, gorgeous weather making it very different to Badminton! Big love to the communities at these events who make it all happen, and obviously the amazing horses and riders! It’s such a pleasure to help keep these superstars feeling their best throughout the competition

National Lockdown 5/1/2021
Please bear with me as I navigate the logistical challenges of the new national lockdown.
I will be continuing to deliver veterinary physiotherapy services on a risk versus need basis following triage, and will be contacting everyone who has an existing appointment to confirm and rearrange where necessary as some diary changes are required due to my new homeschooling commitments!
I also continue to offer telephone advice and remote consultations.
stay safe and well and enjoy the company of your animals!🐴🐎🐕🐕🦺🦮🐩🐾
Update 8/6/2020
I am able to offer human physiotherapy appointments which will now take the format of an initial telephone triage. Following the current guidelines, advice and treatment will be given remotely where possible, and face to face appointments only when clinically justified and mutually agreed following a full risk assessment.
Please do get in touch if I can help!
Visit Www.csp.org.uk for information about physiotherapy and patient resources
Update;
Continuing to follow advice and best practice, I am now able to offer risk assessed face to face appointments for animals under strict social distancing criteria.
I have attached a guide for further information. Covid-19 risk assessment 05-2020

Corona Virus – update
Apologies for the delay in posting this update. Following the governments announcement on 23rd March, and advice from associated governing bodies (RCVS, ACPAT and RAMP) I am unable to make any face to face appointments but can continue to offer support remotely when necessary.
In the unlikely event of an emergency situation requiring urgent contact from myself, I would work closely with the referring vet and continue to follow social distancing and protective guidelines.
With regret I am unable to offer face to face human physiotherapy appointments at this time.
I am keeping in touch with existing clients, and for new clients I am happy to discuss things over the phone/email/video and offer advice/exercises where possible so do get in touch.
On a positive note, have a very happy Easter and enjoy the sunshine. I so much look forward to seeing owners and animals as soon as possible.
Stay well!
Anna

Corona Virus
Understanding Government advice…
Currently we are being advised to continue working with good hygiene practices (as should be normal for a healthcare professional!)
I ask anyone who is unwell, think they may have been in contact with an infected person or is generally concerned, to call me before their appointment so we can discuss best options.
If I become unwell I will of course self isolate and postpone all appointments.
I am always happy to give advice remotely and can do that through any quarantine period in the future.
Please don’t panic buy or cancel everything too early, we are being strongly advised this is not helpful or effective!

In accordance with the new FEI rules coming into force this year, I am now an FEI permitted Equine Therapist ID 10172402. This allows me to work at FEI events with FEI permitted treating vets, in accordance with all the FEI rules.
